Welcome to my music site. I am a mathemusician from Thomasville, GA, now based in Columbus, OH, and I have been writing and recording geeky songs in my spare time since about 1993. Though I now have lived in three college towns since I moved out of Thomasville, I haven't really participated in the music scenes in any of them, so it would constitute some artifice on my part to affiliate my music with them, which is why I wanted to put my site on this server.
I have really only been in two bands in my life, one with Adrian Stowers and one with Chris Hall; these have gone under various monikers over the years. Specifically, I was a founding member of Buddhaphunk and the Purple Waxheads Made of Foam. The Wax Vault is resurrected!
No, I haven't gotten anything recorded in a little while. My music-related free time has of late been devoted to my newest building project, which is going to be another weird guitar. If you're interested, you can check out its progress on its homepage.
Finally, my latest album, Welcome to the Enchanted Forest, is done. Let me know if you would like a copy.
I am starting to post mp3 copies of some of the old songs on the Buddhaphunk page. If you have any copies of our old shows (probably rare), send them to me!
[Jan 4, 2006] I am officially gettin' my fiddle on! I bought a used violin, I have it tuned, and I have been able to make some reasonable sounds come out of it. I'm really interested to see how this one turns out.
[Jan 3, 2006] The Gee-tar is reborn!. I finally acquired enough tools and found some time to properly rebuild it, now with four strings. There are some pics of the new paintjob/faceplate/etc.
I've changed the music page around a little bit, and there's a page for new material now. I also have a few new collaborative works posted.
The lists page was too complicated, so it'll mostly be acting as a blog if I can remember to update it, which will not be terrifically often. Likely any updates will appear at the top, for your convenience.
My email address is ghost424@gmail.com if you want to contact me for anything. Go on, let me know what you think of the site.
